SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Police offer few new details into yesterday's armed robbery at a Sioux Falls bank but say they have witnesses that saw the suspects transfer from one vehicle to another vehicle blocks from the scene.
Officer Sam Clemens says the suspects planned the heist pretty well, evidenced by their getaway car.
Clemens says most often criminals tend to talk about their exploits to others. Investigators hope that's the case in this holdup and they encourage whoever is on the receiving end of that information to call police or CrimesStoppers anonymously.
CrimeStopper tips can often lead to a financial reward for the caller. CrimeStoppers number is (605-367-7007 or 877-367-7007) and this website (click here).
Clemens says the robber's first car was stolen last month from an apartment at 46th and Sertoma.
