Sioux Falls, SD (KELO AM) - The booming intersection of 69th street and Western Avenue is about to get even more crowded.
Steve Gratzfeld announced the plans on Monday. He's looking for businesses, both retail and office-type, to lease between 1,200 and 17,000 square feet of space in the building. His vision also features at least five premium "end cap" spaces with up to 700 square feet of outdoor seating.
According to the release, Gratzfeld hopes to begin signing leases in the spring of 2017. His big push with the development is the ritzy neighborhood it's located in. The leasing brochure claims that the proposed "69th and Western Center" is located smack dab in the middle of "Superior Demographics" with high-value homes and over 10 thousand cars per day passing the intersection.
The Center is just the latest proposed retail space for the busy intersection. First Dakota National Bank is putting the finishing touches on what will be their 4th Sioux Falls location just across the street, Seven office complexes and two retail buildings also call the corner home. Additionally, the upscale Bridges at 57th shopping center is located just north on Western.
