SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - South Dakota usually ranks in the top ten nationwide for voter turnout, but turnout for 18 to 30 year old voters is low.
But Secretary of State Chantel Krebs says 105,000 of that demographic are registered. Unfortunately, Krebs says, in the 2014 election only 22,000 of them actually showed up at the polls.
Meanwhile...as the Twins complete a dismal season, maybe finishing with one-hundred losses, players are encouraging Minnesotans to vote in November.
Kyle Gibson, Brian Dozier and Joe Mauer encourage fans to step up to the plate.
