REACH book drive supports literacy

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - The non-profit REACH is holding a book drive today and tomorrow accepting any sellable books in good condition to help support adult literacy.

Executive Director Paige Carda says REACH sells the books at their store and online and use the proceeds to fund programs.

Carda says the proceeds from the sale will help buy books for both the tutor and students.  She says to get classes started it can take about $75 for a set of books between the two of them.

Books can be dropped off at the REACH library on North Minnesota Avenue or at the ACE store at 41st and Minnesota.

REACH book drive hours are from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
