Alleged shooter caught overnight

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Police arrested a suspect for firing a handgun into the air after allegedly pointing it at two victims on East 6th Street Wednesday night.

Officer Sam Clemens says police found 20-year-old Justin Lee Fast Horse around midnight at a house on North Prairie.

Clemens says Fast Horse is accused of pointing a handgun at one of the victims and "generally" pointing it at a second victim.  He says Fast Horse then allegedly pointed the gun in the air and fired.  No one was injured and there was no damage from the free-falling round.

Fast Horse then fled the scene and police later learned that he was in the house in the 400 block of North Prairie Avenue.

Fast Horse was charged with two counts of aggravated assault. Police did not recover the handgun.
