Severe Weather threat across area

SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO-AM) - The chance for severe weather is widespread this Labor Day weekend. The National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center models show that storms will begin Sunday afternoon in the west, then move eastward. Main threats from the storms will be hail, strong and potentially damaging wind and heavy rainfall.

The active weather pattern will continue to affect the region through Tuesday and Wednesday. Their advice is to keep ana eye (...and ear) on the latest forecast, monitor media and plan your activities for a chance for bad weather, and have a shelter available in case stroms threaten.
