SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) – Here are the updates to road construction for this week in Sioux Falls:
Lane Closures - Arrowhead Parkway
Beginning on Tuesday, August 7, 2018, all lanes of traffic on Arrowhead Parkway from Sycamore Avenue through Highline Avenue will switch from the north side of Arrowhead Parkway to the newly reconstructed south side of Arrowhead Parkway.
This work is part of the ongoing Arrowhead Parkway reconstruction project.
The overall project is scheduled to be complete later this fall.
Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while traveling near the construction areas and may want to consider alternate routes.
Lane Closures - 49th Street
Beginning on Monday, August 6, 2018, the eastbound lanes of West 49th Street will be closed between Carnegie Circle and Western Avenue to allow construction crews to perform street and utility repairs. One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained on the newly resurfaced westbound lanes. Access to businesses along 49th Street will be maintained.
This is the third phase of a project to perform street and utility repairs along 49th Street from Carnegie Circle to Western Avenue. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction throughout the entire length of the project.
The overall project is anticipated to be complete by early September.
