SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) -- Jeff Lamont, the guarantor of the $50 million Village on the River project, will address the media 1 p.m. tomorrow at City Hall.
He will be joined by City officials to discuss the controversy that has surrounded Legacy Development's role in the development downtown.
The same people who were a part of Legacy were also part of Hultgren Construction, which recently filed for bankruptcy protection.
Critics on the City Council have said that the project has not been transparent as to investors and other details.
T.J. Nelson, the Mayor's deputy chief of staff, announced the news conference to some members of the media following the Council's secret executive session this afternoon.
