Sioux Falls, SD (KELO AM) – Sioux Falls Police are searching for a suspect involving an accident and shots fired.
Police were called to an accident at 12th Street and Marion Road just after 1:00 a.m. Sunday morning. Another call came in that could be related to the accident.
A driver at the accident scene was the victim of an aggravated assault. He was going to visit his girlfriend who lived on Falcon Place. He got into an argument with the ex-boyfriend of the female. The suspect pointed a gun at the victim. He left in his vehicle, while the suspect followed, hitting the victim’s vehicle twice while in the trailer court.
Two shots were fired at the victim. He fled the scene and ran a red light at 12th and Marion, where he collided with a taxi. There were no injuries in the shooting or the accident.
