SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) -- Brazen crime knocks on a quiet neighborhood in central Sioux Falls.
From the latest police briefing: A man knocks on the door of a house late at night in the 2900 block of South Western Avenue. When the victim answers, the man points a gun, and forces the victim to show him where his money is.
The gunman makes off with an undetermined amount of cash.
Police says the robber and the victim did not know one another. It's unclear if it's just a random attack or if the gunman somehow knew there was cash in the house.
This knock, knock crime is startling evidence that crime is growing in growing Sioux Falls, even in so-called low crime areas.
