One of the great things about the Sioux Falls Air Show is that you can get up close and personal with aircraft, pilots, and technology.
The photos in this collage (starting upper left, going clockwise) shows kids in the cockpit of a Civil Air Patrol Cessna 182 at the yoke pretending to fly. An adult peers into the same aircraft. A 70 year old L-5B Sentinel is open for viewing. And sometimes, a static display makes for some handy shade to watch the air show from on a hot and humid summer day.
