SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) -- Thousands of people from all over are enjoying the 2018 Pheasant Fest and Quail Classic in Sioux Falls this weekend.
Matt Haywood is from Omaha.
"I'm an avid Pheasant hunter originally from South Dakota and everything - just from watching the people, watching the dogs, visiting with the venders - It's all fantastic." Haywood told KELO Radio's It's Your Business Show with Bill Zortman, broadcasting live from the Sanford Premier Center on Friday.
There are over 350 exhibitors at the show, everything from 'Bark Blaster', a humane way to train your bird dog when not to bark, to Nitro Ear, custom designed hearing protection to soften the noise your shotgun makes.
But it's not all hunting and fishing and pheasants and more pheasants. It's also the U.S.S. South Dakota.
"That's the brand new nuclear submarine. Some of the sailors will be here in their display and they can tell you all about it." Though Pheasant Fest's Jerry Cliff adds that some of those sailors are pretty good pheasant hunters too.
This is the first time this annual classic has been held in Sioux Falls and it's expected to be the biggest convention in South Dakota history.
The big show runs through Sunday.
