SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) – Great Bear Ski Valley is finally opening for the season, with limited ski/snowboard runs and tubing lanes.
The park opened Tuesday.
The wait has been long but the winter weather has finally arrived and Great Bear is ready.
The snow park includes: 14 ski/snowboard downhill trails, terrain park, one quad chairlift, two conveyor style lifts, one rope tow, six levels of ski/snowboard lessons, a four mile trail system of groomed cross country ski trails, eight tubing hills (that equates to less waiting to get up to the top and ride down), and equipment rentals.
Great Bear Recreation Park is located at 5901 East Rice Street, two miles east of I-229.
