SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) If it ain't broke, don't fix it, is essentially how Sioux Falls Mayor Mike Huether feels about efforts to change the way members are picked for the city parks board.
City Councilor Theresa Stehly, for one, wants board members representing geographic districts, as council members currently do. She feels it would better ensure that all areas of the city are being treated fairly.
Mayor Huether tells KELO Radio's Greg Belfrage Show that equal treatment is already happening.
"Where we are investing our dollars, where we implement our programs, it is all over this great city,"
Huether says Sioux Falls has one of the best parks systems in the country and changing things is really a solution for a problem that doesn't exist..
