SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) A plan to fill the big hole in downtown Sioux Falls from the fatal building collapse has been submitted to the City Historic Preservation Board.
The structure has to meet certain requirements for the downtown area on Phillips Avenue.
The owner of the former Copper Lounge site has submitted documents that show a two-story structure with exterior brick, that might include a rooftop patio.
The old Copper Lounge building collapsed last December, killing a construction worker and trapping a woman who lived in an upstairs apartment for hours in the rubble.
