South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley tells WNAX Radio that prosecution of those connected to the Flandreau Sioux Tribes marijuana growing operation was the right thing to do,
Eric Hagen, a consultant to the tribe was found not guilty last month of conspiracy charges.
Jackley says federal enforcement of drug laws is also changing.
The tribe abandoned the growing operation in November of 2015 when it burned about two million dollars in marijuana plants.
