PIERRE, S.D. (KELO-AM) -- The Government Operations and Audit Committee of the South Dakota legislature will hear a report from Auditor General Marty Guindon at their meeting tomorrow on the finances of Mid Central Educational Cooperative.
That organization was at the middle of the GEAR UP funding mess.
House Speaker Mark Mickelson of Sioux Falls says the issue is being handled correctly and legislators will take the report as a guide for future legislation.
Three former Mid Central managers will stand trial this summer in connection with the embezzlement case.
