SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELL AM) - A Sioux Falls man was arrested for arson after he allegedly set fire to a chair in an occupied home on North Sherman Avenue last night
Officer Sam Clemens says 46-year-old David James Olson was drinking most of the day the residents and was twice asked to leave. They also let him back in twice.
Clemens says three people were sleeping in the house when one of the occupants thought she could smell a pot burning on the stove. She went to the living room to find a chair on fire and Olson on the outside banging on a window.
Clemens couldn't say who called police but when they arrived they found Olson in the backyard and arrested him for arson and disorderly conduct.
Sioux Falls Fire Rescue extinguished the fire and removed the chair.
