SIOUX FALLS (KELO-AM) The National Weather Service has issed a Winter Storm Watch effective Sunday evening thru Monday afternoon for counties North and East of Sioux Falls. The affected counties are: Lincoln and Pipestone in Minnesota and Kingsbury, Brookings, Miner, Lake and Moody in South Dakota.

afternoon, with accumulations most likely during the overnight and early morning hours. * SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...Total snow accumulations of 4 to 6 inches are possible, with the highest amounts more likely in higher elevations. * WINDS / VISIBILITIES...Northeast to north winds will average 20 to 30 mph. Significant reductions in visibility are possible. * IMPACTS...Plan on difficult driving conditions. A winter storm watch means there is potential for significant snow, sleet or ice accumulations that may impact travel.
