SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) The Catholic Diocese of Sioux Falls, led by Bishop Paul Swain, broke ground Friday for construction to unleash the power of prayer.
A new permanent monastery will be built on the campus of St. Joseph's Cathedral dedicated to intercessory prayer. A group of cloistered Perpetual Adoration Sisters will pray daily, especially for the people and community of Sioux Falls.
The monastery will include a chapel that will be open to the public around the clock. Any time of day, anyone will be able to come in and pray.
