SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) The Sioux Falls man who drew national attention with his angry Facebook video showing his arsenal of guns, has been charged with making a terrorist threat.
Attorney General Marty Jackley and Lincoln County State's Attorney Tom Wollman confirmed on Friday that Ehab Abdulmutta Jaber, 45, has been arrested and charged with a class 5 felony. If convicted, he faces up to 5 years in prison and/or a $10,000 fine.
Authorities say that they seized firearms as well as methamphetamine, during a search of Jaber's residence.
This all started when Jaber attended a conference at the Hilton Garden Inn South that was criticized for being anti-Islamic. He was told to leave because he was carrying a gun. He left, but when he got back to his car in the parking lot, he live streamed himself on Facebook, displaying his guns, amid an obscenity-laced rant.
This case is being investigated by the Sioux Falls Police Department and being prosecuted by the Attorney General’s Office and the Lincoln County State’s Attorney. The possession of methamphetamine case is being prosecuted by the Minnehaha County State’s Attorney
