SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) Easter baskets were multiplying like rabbits for KTWB Radio's 18th annual Easter Basket Drive.
Hundreds and hundred of baskets were brought to Midwest Communications offices on Phillips Avenue in downtown Sioux Falls on Wednesday, as KTWB's Tom Mitchell gave the play-by-play, live on Facebook.
"Four or five hundred baskets. Are you kidding? Guys, these baskets are bit like rabbits, aren't they? They multiply. I've been waiting to use that joke for quite awhile." Corny jokes, all in a good cause. The colorful baskets lined the halls and filled a big conference room.
Anybody can donate, but big donors include Citibank and Avera, among others.
The baskets will go to needy kids in the Sioux Falls area for an extra-special Easter holiday.
KTWB is KELO AM's sister station, so why not give them a plug.
