SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO-AM) -- Part-time county commissioners like Lincoln County's Jim Schmidt are being called upon to make long-term decisions on complicated issues like wind farms.
Lincoln County has been trying to figure out how to accomadate a proposed large-scale wind generating operation while also keeping residents happy and options open for other kinds of development.
Following his appearance on KELO-AM's It's Your Business with Bill Zortman, Schmidt discussed the balancing act he and his fellow commissioners are trying to achieve with KELO Radio's Todd Epp.
