SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - A Sioux Falls man in jail for indecent exposure has been charged with possession of child pornography after police looked into images on his phone.
Officer Sam Clemens says 23-year-old Brandon James Christman of Sioux Falls was arrested last week for allegedly taking nude selfies in public at 1st Street and Sherman Avenue.
Clemens says investigators searched his phone and discovered two images of child pornography. Christman faces two counts of possession of child pornography
A man and a wife witnessed Christman taking the selfies and called police.
While in jail Christman told authorities that he was the victim of a crime while incarcerated. Clemens says that prompted investigators to examine Christman's phone.
Indecent exposure is a misdemeanor while possession of child porn is a felony.
