SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Police have arrested two of the three suspects they believe are responsible for the armed robbery of Happy Jack's Casino on East Arrowhead Parkway three weeks ago.
Officer Sam Clemen says 31-year-old Brian Anthony Delfino Mazzoni is suspected of driving the get-away car. Mazzoni was already in custody in another case.
Police arrested 37-year-old Michael Robert Lebeaux yesterday. Investigators believe Lebeaux and a woman robbed the casino at gunpoint.
The female suspect has not been arrested but police identify her as 47-year-old Christine Anne Barrett. All three suspects are from Sioux Falls.
Clemens says Lebaux or Barrett had a gun and forced two employees into the back office, took some money and fled. They're also suspeted of pointing a handgun at the lone patron. The heist took place just as the business was opening after 7 a.m.
All three are charged with robbery, aggravated assault and grand theft.
