SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Sioux Falls Police just released details of a significant drug bust last November where over 85 grams of meth were seized and two suspects arrested.

Sergeant Shaun Olson says 33-year-old Carlos Angelo Casarez of Bemidji, Minnesota and 21-year-old Felonna Joy White of Eden, in northeast South Dakota, are charged with drug distribution.

Olson says in converting the amount of meth, it's about a quarter pound, just under three ounces and worth about $6,000 dollars on the street

Olson says Casarez and White were arrested in their car after they came out of an eastside Sioux Falls home that was under surveillance in a drug investigation.  He couldn't comment on the outcome of the case into the house.  He says part of the delay in releasing the information was to allow the investigation to go as far as it could without tipping off potential suspects.

The meth and a handgun were found in the car's glove compartment.  Police also seized over 100 grams of marijuana and some prescription pills in the trunk.

Casarez and White also face a charge of committing a felony with a firearm
