SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - The city can't say when streets around the Copper Lounge collapse site will open.

City Emergency Manager Regan Smith says the property is back in the hands of the owners and contractors and a chain link fence is going up around the site today.

Smith says the city has no plans for investigating the collapse or its cause.  He says that will be up to the owners, their insurors and OSHA will also investigate.  24-year-old Ethan McMahon died in the collapse of the building Friday morning.

Smith says the city's priority is to ensure public safety around the site.

Smith says the Copper Lounge is a total loss and PAve, a recently opened night club, will have to make repairs to the southern wall before it can re-open.

10th Street is closed from 2nd to Main Avenues and Phillips Avenue is closed from 9th to 11th Streets. To travel through downtown Sioux Falls use 8th or 14th Streets
