SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Texas authorities arrested the man suspected of holding up the Golden Coin Casino in Sioux Falls on Thanksgiving Day.
Officer Sam Clemens says what led police to Jesse Robert Buskol was finding the red P-T Cruiser he allegedly used in the armed robbery.
A private surveillance camera caught an image of the getaway car fleeing the casino. Buskol allegedly almost hit another car and the driver told police of the near hit. Finally, an officer found the vehicle parked, with no driver, but found a black jacket and some money inside.
Clemens says investigators tracked down the owner of the car who had loaned it to a third party.
Somervell County, Texas, authorities stopped a car stolen from South Dakota on Sunday. The driver was Buskol who allegedly stole the car in Sioux Falls.
Authorities issued an arrest warrant Monday with a $100,000 cash bond.
Clemens says Buskol will be extradited back to Sioux Falls.
