SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO-AM) - Two people are reported dead in a double homicide just north of Sioux Falls on Sunday. Metro Communications received what they refer to as a "panic call" from a mobile home park at 6200 North Cliff Avenue shortly before 1:00 PM. When deputies arrived, they discovered two people dead inside trailer #128.

Captain Mike Walsh of the Sheriff's Office said Deputies quickly arrested a suspect, a man reported to have been seen leaving the trailer just before law enforcement arrived on scene in the development in Minnehaha County, just north of I-90. No names have been released for either victims or suspect. Sioux Falls Police and the State's Attorneys Office are assisting with the investigation.

Sheriff Mike Milstead says there's no threat to the public, and we should get more information during Monday's morning crime briefing.

It's the second major crime resulting in death in a week for Minnehaha County. Last week, a man in Dell Rapids was arrested after he allegedly shot and killed his girlfriend's estranged husband.
