SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Deals arranged on Facebook are commonplace but a Sioux Falls man was injured yesterday afternoon when he tried buying a laptop from a man sitting in a car at 15th and Charlotte Avenue.

Sergeant Sean Kooistra says the victim handed the alleged seller cash but he drove off.

Kooistra says the victim tried to grab the laptop from the suspect but got caught in the window and was drug about ten feet before he got free.  The victim suffered some minor injuries and the suspect got away with both the laptop and the cash.

Kooistra says a witness saw the entire incident and called 911.  When police arrived the victim was still on the scene.  He was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The suspect was in the passenger side of the car and is described as a black male, in his mid-20's, five- feet-five, 120 pounds and had a beard.  There's no description of the driver.

The car is descibed as a gray or silver Chrysler with South Dakota plates.

Kooistra says the deal was setup on Facebook and he advises arranging meetings in the lobby of the Law Enforcement Center to deter bad guys.
