Vote often for Downtown Sioux Falls

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Downtown Sioux Falls is a finalist for a $25,000 grant to help wrap utility boxes with sight specific history images as part of HistoryWalk.

Brienne Maner says DTSF is one of 200 finalists and the top 40 vote-receiving causes gets a grant.

Maner says the goal is to turn HistoryWalk into a historical, educational tour for not only residents but also for visitors who love to walk downtown and view SculptureWalk.

HistoryWalk will be managed by DTSF with consulting from Siouxland Heritage Museums and Clean Slate Group, the company that will design, create and install the way finding vinyl wraps on utility boxes.

DTSF is also considering the potential development of a mobile app to provide locals and tourists with an engaging and educational opportunity.

You can vote ten times a day until Friday, October 4, at d-t-s-f.com.

The $25,000 grant would come from the State Farm Neighborhood Assist program.
