SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Police say a 15-year-old girl was abducted while walking from Lincoln High School yesterday and was allegedly raped in the suspect's apartment on Newcomb Avenue.
Officer Sam Clemens says 34-year-old Jason Marquis Becker is accused of forcibly putting the teenager in his car, driving to his apartment and struggling to get her inside.
Clemens says Becker drove up to the girl as she walking to a friend's house and asked her to get in. She refused, Becker followed her and allegedly forcing her into his car.
When they got to Becker's apartment the victim struggled, which Clemens says drew the attention of a motorist driving by. Clemens says when the witness stopped Becker let go of the girl. The driver kept going and Becker took the girl to his apartment where he allegedly raped her
When Becker left the apartment the girl escaped, found help and called police who arrested Becker at his apartment for rape and kidnapping.
