SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Police say a 27-year-old Sioux Falls man died when his speeding motorcycle hit a car Saturday night at 41st Street and South Holbrook.
Officer Sam Clemens says witnesses claim Yomar Rodriguez-Valentin was riding at speeds between 80 and 100.
Clemens says those speeds are a rough estimate and police will pin down the man's speed. Clemens says witnesses also say that the light facing Rodriguez-Valentin turned red and he was going too fast to stop before hitting the car.
The 19-year-old female driver of the car and a passenger were not injured.
