SIOUX FALS, S.D. (KELO AM) - An Ohio Congressman believes that if Representatives and Senators were required to get their healthcare from Veterans Affairs, they would act faster in improving a failing program.

Republican Warren Davidson says veterans count on Congress to lead by example and stand with them in solidarity.

Davidson says it's an opportunity to say to our veterans that Congress is willing to live with the same healthcare system they do and they'll get it fixed.

Davidson says "we're willing to eat our own cookin'."

Davidson has introduced his "Lead by Example Act" in the House V-A Committee.  He says he will also work with the House Admin Committee because it currently is where Representatives access current healthcare.
