SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - A daytime saturation patrol Saturday in Sioux Falls resulted in 128 speeding citations written.
Officer Sam Clemens says 14 extra officers made almost 300 contacts between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Clemens says there were two arrests for DWI. He says it's not uncommon to mane driving under the influence arrests in the daytime. He say most of the arrests still come at night.
Clemens says there were 19 seatbelt violations, 15 driver's license violations and and thirty-five no insurance tickets.
14 additional officers were added to the patrol on Saturday.
