SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - The average price for regular gasoline fell to $2.15 a gallon nationwide yesterday.
That’s down a tenth of a penny from a week ago says the Energy Information Administration.
The EIA says pump prices were highest in the West Coast states at $2.53 a gallon and pump prices were lowest in the Gulf Coast states at $1.94 a gallon.
Triple A South Dakota says a gallon of gas in Sioux Falls this morning averages $2.11, up 8 cents from a week ago, and ranges from $1.81 to $2.59.
Meanwhile...the average price for on-highway diesal fuel fell to $2.31 a gallon yesterday. Down six-tenths of a penny from a week ago.
Diesal prices were highest in the West Coast states at $2.58 a gallon while pump prices were lowest in the Gulf Coast states at $2.18 a gallon.
Triple A South Dakota says prices for a gallon of diesal in Sioux Falls range from $2.19 to $2.59.
