SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) -- The first development at the downtown railyard property in Sioux Falls has been delayed because of some unexpected parking challenges.
The Billion family had hoped to have significant underground parking, but their attorney Jim Widerrich tells Council that that will have to change.
"The fact that there is a significant amount of bedrock in that area has caused the Billions to reevaluate the design of the project."
So City Council has delayed until October 15th, a vote on the sale of four acres to Black Iron Railyard LLC.
