SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) -- Because of last night's delay in opening the Sioux Empire Fair due to threatening weather, the Fair opened today at 2 p.m.
And with the delay came a blocks' long line to get into the Fair when the gates finally opened.
Carnival rides opened at 5 p.m. Grandstand act Scotty McCreery arrived today and is playing his show at 8 p.m. as planned.
The Fair runs through August 11.
