SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) -- The National Weather Service reported just under an inch of rain through the overnight hours into Saturday morning.
Showers and thunderstorms may redevelop Saturday evening into Saturday night. There is a slight chance for severe weather in the area, with the primary threat of hail and damaging winds if storms do develop.
There is another chance of showers and thunderstorms through Sunday night. Heavy rain is a possibility Sunday night for parts of the area, especially along and south of I-90 in southwest Minnesota and northwest Iowa. The greatest risk of thunderstorms will be in the afternoon and overnight hours
