SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- The state of South Dakota has identified the identity of the motorcyclist who died from an accident on Interstate 90.
The victim was Paul Carver, 37, from Saint Paul, Minn.

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – A St. Paul, MN man has died of injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash on Saturday, July 28, west of Sioux Falls.
Paul Carver, 37, was driving a 2004 Kawasaki 999 east in the passing lane of Interstate 90 when he lost control. The vehicle went off the roadway and into the median.
Carver, who was not wearing a helmet, was taken to a Sioux Falls hospital with life-threatening injuries. He died on Wednesday, Aug. 1.
South Dakota’s Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
The Highway Patrol is part of the South Dakota Department of Public Safety.
