SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) -- The Blind Boys of Alabama and Paul Thorn will give First Friday goers a taste of coming attractions to the Leavitt Shell when it is finished.
The Grammy-winning group from Alabama--who actually are vision impaired--will bring their tight gospel harmonies to the 8th and Railroad Center at 7 p.m. today. Admission is free.
Member Ricky McKinney says they'll give a memorable performance--and some things to think about.
"We try to let people know that a disability is not a handicap," McKinney said. "We let them know that you can do what you want if you can, if you want to. We're going to make them feel something they've never felt before."
