SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) -- Citi Group responds to accusations by the Communications Workers of America union that they are shipping call center jobs from Sioux Falls to overseas.
A Citi Group spokesman tells KELO.com News that “To align staffing with current business needs, Citi is eliminating some positions at its Sioux Falls operations center."
The spokesman says Citi is encouraging affected employees to explore other employment opportunities at Citi and will provide outplacement services and other benefits for those affected.
They also say they are filling positions at their operations in Kentucky.
