SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO-AM) South Dakota's largest fair opens Friday, August 5, in Sioux Falls, right off Interstate 90.
The 77th annual Sioux Empire Fair runs for ten days at the W.H. Lyons Fairgrounds.
The Fair's Brittany Will says there will be everything from live shows to live stock, from big time carnival rides to pro rodeo.
"Last year our attendance was 321,000. This year we expect a huge group again," says Will.
The live shows include the Beach Boys, 3 Doors Down, Charles Esten, Easton Corbin, Chris Janson, and many, many, many more.
Everything is free with paid admission, and on Monday, August 8, admission is free all day long, thanks to the deep pockets of the Billion Auto Group.
