SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) -- Some lucky people were getting the ride of a lifetime Wednesday aboard the Goodyear Blimp in the skies over Sioux Falls.
The iconic blimp came to Sioux Falls to advertise Graham Tire Company, that's been selling Goodyear tires for 67 years. Some of Graham's most loyal customers have been getting rides.
"Long-standing customers that have been big supporters of Goodyear, as well, for many, many years, and it's a very unique way to say 'thank you'." says Graham Boss, David Mickelson.
Mickelson says the big blimp is trying to get in the full schedule of rides from near Sioux Falls Regional Airport, but South Dakota's weather has caused some challenges. A couple of flights early Wednesday had to be canceled.
This is the blimp's first visit to Sioux Falls in 15 years.
