SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) -- At least eight hand guns have been stolen from unlocked vehicles in Sioux Falls in the last 12 days.
Police Spokesman Sam Clemens sounds like a broken record telling people yet again to lock their cars.
"People have to learn to lock their cars, especially if they have guns in them. That's just what it comes down to..."
Clemens says these stolen guns are sometimes used in crimes in Sioux Falls or in other states.
The latest thefts - four guns from four separate unlocked vehicles - happened in the 5100 block of South Mandy Avenue, the 5600 block of South Mandy, the 5800 block of West King Arthur, and the 500 block of North Todd Place.
