SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) -- For state Sen. Billie Sutton, a Democrat, today's primary election is just another day of campaigning for governor.
"I'm going to continue reaching out to voters throughout the rest of today and this evening as well," Sutton said. "We'll certainly tune in to check that (results) out."
Sutton faces the winner of today's Republican primary between Marty Jackley and Kristi Noem. He says he has no preference who he faces in November.
The Burke investment banker says governor's the race boils down to trust.
"I want to give back," Sutton said. "Show the people you can trust your elected leaders again. We're really missing that."
