SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) -- There would be little impact on South Dakota's lone Planned Parenthood Clinic in Sioux Falls if President Trump succeeds in defunding the organization.

Planned Parenthood Spokeswoman for the Dakotas and Minnesota, Jen Alwes, explain that only Title X federal money is involved.

"The clinic itself would not be impacted because Planned Parenthood in South Dakota does not receive Title X funding."

Kelo.com News asked Alwes why Planned Parenthood doesn't just simply abandon abortion as one of its services to avoid the defunding effort.

"We will never walk away from the fact that we provide abortion. We will fight to make sure that this rule is not successful."

The Trump Administration wants the Title X money moved from Planned Parenthood and other such organizations to health centers that do not offer or promote abortion.
