SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) -- Over one hundred volunteers will join together tomorrow to place American flags on veterans' graves.
It's a long-standing Memorial Day tradition at Hills of Rest Cemetery in Sioux Falls. Groups such as the Civil Air Patrol, the Boy Scouts, and the Girl Scouts, place the flags on the graves.
The cemetery's 85 year old bell system will also play.
Over 3,000 of the 15,000 people buried there are veterans.
A brief service begins at 5 p.m., followed by the placement of flags.
