SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Tomorrow's Dairy Queen Miracle Treat Day is a tasty way to help Children's Miracle Network in its mission of benefiting sick and injured children.
Bethany Olson with CMN says funds raised support specialized equipment at Sanford Children's Hospital along with programs like child life, back-to-school and the pediatric chaplain.
Olson says CMN also helps families by giving money directly to them in the form of meal vouchers, hotel stays when they travel to and from the hospital several times a week, CMN helps with mileage.
Participating DQ's donate a dollar from every Blizzard to CMN to the tune last year of $290,000 locally across eastern North and South Dakota.
For large office sales tomorrow, preorder today at Dairy Queen and let them know when you can pick up the order. The DQ's will have the order ready and you can avoid long lines.
