SIOUX FALLS (KELO.com) -- Sioux Falls Police are investigating an early morning car – pedestrian accident in western Sioux Falls.
Officers were called to a location near West 12th Street and South Valley View Road for an accident. They found an unconscious adult male in the road, being tended to by several witnesses and the driver of the vehicle that hit him.
The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The early investigation showed that the victim crossed west 12th Street in the middle of the block and stepped into the path of the vehicle.
No arrests were made, and no citations have been issued.
